Girona will be bidding to make it five straight wins in all competitions and continue their remarkable start to the 2023-24 La Liga campaign when they head to Osasuna on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors are currently second in the table, level on points (28) with leaders Real Madrid, while Osasuna sit in 11th position, having struggled for consistency in the opening months of the season.
Indeed, a record of four wins, one draw and six defeats from 11 matches has left them in 11th position in the table on 13 points, and they will enter this match off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Real Betis.
Osasuna actually levelled the scores in the 85th minute of the clash at Estadio Benito Villamarin last weekend, with Ruben Garcia finding the back of the net, but Isco came up with a Real Betis winner in the 94th minute.
Jagoba Arrasate's side now have back-to-back home matches against Girona and Las Palmas before the international break, but their form in front of their own supporters this season has been disappointing, recording just one victory from six games in all competitions.
