Already-qualified Portugal will be bidding to make it eight straight wins in Group J when they continue their Euro 2024 qualification campaign against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday night.
Portugal's position in the finals was secured courtesy of a 3-2 success over Slovakia on Friday, while Bosnia-Herzegovina still have a chance of finishing second, currently sitting fourth in the section, four points behind second-placed Slovakia on the same number of matches.
The Dragons are four points behind second-placed Slovakia, meaning that they will be unable to finish in the top two if they lose to Portugal and Slovakia overcome Luxembourg.
Savo Milosevic's side have been victorious in two of their last three in the section, including a 2-0 success over Liechtenstein on Friday, with Amar Rahmanovic and Miroslav Stevanovic on the scoresheet.
Bosnia-Herzegovina still have another possible route to qualification, as they have already secured a position in the playoffs due to their UEFA Nations League ranking, so their journey in terms of advancing to Euro 2024 will not be finished even if results go against them on Monday.
